Terms

• Grain — an ERC-721 token; the only entry into the vortex.
• Dust — the outermost shell, with no seat limit; every new grain starts here.
• Shell — a ring of the vortex with a fixed seat count and weight.
• Nucleus — the single center seat, taken weekly by challenge.
• Core — the shell around the Nucleus, entered by tenure and a won challenge.
• Flow — lifetime USDG value routed through the Router while a grain was active.
• Tenure — the number of daily pulses a grain has made.
• Pulse — a free transaction, callable once every 24 hours per grain, that adds tenure.
• Gravity — the outward drift that starts when a grain stops pulsing.
• Mass — flowUsd × (1 + tenureDays / 30); decides challenges and orbit order.
• Orbit — waiting at the shell below's weight for a free seat in a full shell.
• Challenge — a mass contest against the lowest-mass occupant of the next shell in.
• Settlement — the daily run that turns the pot into Stock Tokens and sends them to vaults.
• Crown — the 20% of each pot that cascades to the inner shells.
• Flow share — the 75% of each pot split across every grain by weight.
• Pot — the USDG filled by the four onchain sources, waiting for settlement.
• Reservoir — holds the non-burned share of each $CX drop and sells it under a public cap.
• Vault — a grain's own ERC-6551 account, where settlement and seeds land.
• Basket — the set of canonical Robinhood Stock Tokens that settlement buys.
• Ticker of the Week — the basket name the Nucleus picks; its weight is multiplied that week.
• Settlement Call — a Shell II power to trigger one extra early settlement per week.
